Believe it or not, the unpacking marathon has extended to even now. Today we got Anson's room organized. He is a much happier camper now that his stuff is where he can play with it, his crib is assembled, and his familiar things are in place (like his rug and monkey beanbag chair). It was interesting to see his reaction as I unpacked things. I noticed that he definitely recognized some of his belongings, even though he had only seen them for couple days after getting back from England. Makes me realize that "stuff" can have an impact on our sense of home. England felt like a visit because few of the things in our apartment were actually ours. Getting our personal belongings moved into this apartment is making it easier to mentally register where we live now as "home." Since the last 2 posts were boring without pictures, I thought I would include one here.
