Montessori Moment

My mother came to visit last weekend. She does her Montessori teacher training periodically in Rochester, Michigan. Of course we always persuade her to come see us while she is in the Midwest. We had lots of fun together. She left a bunch of her Montessori stuff at our house because we are going to take it back to Utah for her on our moving truck. Her latest "toy" she left at our house was a tree she had custom made by this amazing toymaker based off of equilateral triangles and squares. I had Anson put it together today. He caught on so quickly, I was amazed! Here are a couple pictures of him building it.
