So, here is the painting I did of my fourth great grandfather, Hosea Stout. He was the first LDS missionary to go to China and was a stellar leader in the early days of the church. I started the painting in August while we were taking classes at Cambridge University. I finished the bulk of it in England, but have been doing minor changes/developments since we have moved to Ohio. I just submitted it to the International LDS Church Art competition, so we will see if it gets accepted! Wish me luck.
